Tradelics is not a subscription. One payment. No subscription. No automatic renewal.
Your license
When you buy Tradelics, you own a perpetual license — it never expires. That’s true on day one and it’s still true years later, whether or not you ever buy another update.
What’s included when you buy
Every purchase includes a period of feature updates at no extra cost:
- Launch Offer customers (first 100): every new feature free for 5 years.
- Standard customers: every new feature free for 12 months.
Every feature you become entitled to during that period is yours to keep — permanently, even after the period ends.
What happens when your included period ends
Nothing is taken away. You keep using every feature you already have, for as long as you use Tradelics. Tradelics will not intentionally disable or remove features you already own because your update period has expired.
The optional 12-Month Update Pass — €59 one-time
If you want features released after your included period, you can buy a separate Update Pass:
- Costs exactly €59 — a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
- Completely optional. You are never billed automatically, and there’s no back-payment for years you skipped.
- Unlocks the current Tradelics feature set and starts a new 12-month update period from your purchase date.
- Can be purchased any time, even long after your original period expired.
- At the end of that new period, everything you received stays yours permanently — same as your original purchase.
We deliberately don’t call this a “renewal,” “plan,” or “membership” — it’s a separate, one-time purchase you choose to make, or don’t.
Maintenance vs. new features
Some things remain available to every licensed customer regardless of Update Pass status:
- Security fixes
- Data-integrity fixes
- Corrections to trading calculations
- Crash and reliability fixes
- Fixes to features you already own
- Reasonable compatibility maintenance for integrations you already use
An active Update Pass is what unlocks genuinely new capability — for example, a new broker integration, a new analytics dashboard, a new charting feature, or a new workflow. We won’t use “maintenance” as a pretext to re-lock something you already had working.
This isn’t an unlimited promise — Tradelics can’t guarantee indefinite compatibility with every future Windows version, broker API, or platform. Continued operation is subject to our published system requirements and compatibility with the third-party platforms we support.
Microsoft Store updates
Microsoft Store versions of Tradelics may receive application updates automatically through the Store. If your update period has expired when a newer package installs: everything you already own stays available, and newly introduced features may remain locked until you purchase an Update Pass — but nothing you already had is removed, and a temporary outage of our licensing service won’t lock you out of what you already own.
The Launch Offer
The first 100 completed purchases receive:
- Tradelics for €79 one-time
- A perpetual, non-expiring license, same as every purchase
- Every new feature free for 5 years
- Distributed through the Microsoft Store
This is a thank-you for supporting a young, independent product early — not an ordinary discount. It’s:
- Limited to the first 100 completed, valid purchases
- Non-transferable, attached to the purchased license
- Feature updates only — it does not include priority support
- Scoped to the current Tradelics Windows desktop application, and does not extend to a future macOS product, mobile product, cloud service, AI feature, or any product with material recurring third-party costs (paid market data, usage-based AI, etc.)
No subscription, ever
Tradelics does not automatically renew your purchase or charge you again. Any future Update Pass requires a new purchase that you start yourself. Lemon Squeezy handles checkout and payment processing for all Tradelics purchases.
